I just accidentally allowed my hair to fall into a candle flame. Good thing I was planning on getting a pre-roommate-wedding haircut this week.

Also? Burning hair smells horrid.

    OK ew. and be careful!
Burnt cat hair does smell gross. Nancy’s cat decided to race the dog across the coffee table where the candle was. His tail caught fire, after the scare it was hilarious watching dog chase cat with flaming tail and both be chased by Nancy.

    Heh, real farcical stuff!

i once had a dog that liked to sleep with it’s eyes open, which was a little weird to see but basicaly fine…until the fateful day it decided to sleep in front of a blazing fireplace.

By the time we found the dog the poor thing had dried out the front of its corneas – the smell permeating the room was not pleasant! We got some eyedrops from the vet that had to be applied frequently, and it was such a shame watching the poor animal trying to blink – happily the damage wasn’t permanent, and within a week or two everything was back to normal! Though he never did sleep by that fire again…

    True story. Honest Injun.

Ok, the stories about pets getting burned almost caused me to lose my appetite for my starbucks grande sugar-free vanilla 2% latte. But I’ll be damned if I won’t enjoy every drop of my 4 dollar cup of coffee – no matter how hard you people try.

Do people really still say honest-injun?

It’s, um, back in fashion? Retro-chic, and all that. *looks to see if he got away with it*
