I am twenty-something software developer living in a medium sized southern city. I love music, movies, technology, books, hiking, camping, cooking, and my cat. I may come across as pretty ‘normal’ (at first) in everyday life, but I am a geek and completely unashamed. I blog because my ‘real’ life doesn’t give me enough opportunities to talk about the things I am really interested in – mostly scifi and programming these days. I try to date sometimes but mostly it sucks, so I am just enjoying life and seeing where things go one day at a time.

Note: This blog is written anonymously mostly because I’d rather my coworkers and my mother never find out about it since they figure prominently in a few of my posts. My mother found my livejournal once and that was the end of all honesty there, so I’d prefer that not happen again.
